San Andreas Parks and Recreation Office

Our mission is to protect and celebrate the natural heritage of San Andreas. We work to:

• Preserve and manage state parks, forests and recreational areas.

• Promote conservation and ensure the sustainable use of natural resources.

• Create opportunities for public enjoyment through trails, campgrounds and recreational programs.

• Protect and safeguard park lands with the dedicated San Andreas Park Rangers.

• Inspire a culture of stewardship through education and community engagement.

The San Andreas Park Rangers are the guardians of the state’s natural treasures. They provide law enforcement, protect wildlife, ensure visitor safety and respond to emergencies within park lands. Rangers also serve as educators and ambassadors, teaching visitors about the state’s diverse ecosystems.
