The Department of Education is dedicated to ensuring that every resident of San Andreas has access to quality education, from early childhood through higher learning. The department oversees public schools, sets curriculum standards, manages teacher accreditation and supports community colleges and vocational training programs. In addition to its role in education, the department also maintains the Public Law Library, a central repository of the state’s statutes, constitution and codes.
