The Department of Labor is mandated to:
Protect and promote fair labor practices.
Support workers and businesses through training, resources and dispute resolution.
Oversee business licensing to ensure safe and lawful operation.
Administer immigration services to help new residents adapt and contribute to the state’s economy.
Foster entrepreneurship and accountability through partnerships with the business community.
Labor Supports Division ensures worker protections, addresses disputes and provides training resources.
Organization Licensing Division manages licensing and compliance of for-profit, non-profit and not-for-profit organizations across the state.
San Andreas Business Council is an independent, arms-length agency of business leaders dedicated to mentoring new entrepreneurs, sharing expertise and promoting accountability within the business community.
State Immigration Services Office administers immigration programs and supports integration into San Andreas communities.
