About the Department of Labor

The Department of Labor is responsible for labor standards, worker supports, organization licensing and immigration services in San Andreas. The department administers programs and regulations relating to workers, businesses and newcomers to the state.

Anton Walsh

Secretary of Labor

Anton Walsh was appointed Secretary of Labor in 2025. Secretary Walsh previously served as Undersecretary of Transportation and Agriculture.

With a background in economics and labor law, Secretary Walsh is passionate about creating economic opportunities for all people.

Mandate

The Department of Labor is responsible for:

Administering and enforcing labor standards and worker protections.
Providing worker supports, training and dispute resolution services.
Licensing and regulating for-profit, nonprofit and not-for-profit organizations.
Administering immigration programs and related services.
Supporting the administration of programs for workers and businesses.

Organization

Labor Supports Division administers worker protections, dispute resolution and training programs.
Organization Licensing Division licenses and regulates for-profit, nonprofit and not-for-profit organizations across the state.
San Andreas Business Council is an independent, arms-length body that provides business mentorship, expertise and guidance to entrepreneurs.
State Immigration Services Office administers immigration programs and related services.
