The San Andreas State Senate holds elections every three months to fill its seven seats. Senators are elected to their seat through block voting, a system where citizens select their top seven candidates to represent them in the state legislature.
Candidates are nominated by the citizens of San Andreas. A minimum of five signatures is required for a candidate to register in an election. Eligible voters may nominate more than one candidate in any election.
Interested candidates can register their campaign at the State Capitol Building with the State Clerk with their completed petition.
